About the RD2.0 Mercury Sayaka S15 RTR

Chassis & Body

Built on a flexible resin double-deck chassis, the RD2.0 provides a stable foundation with the right mix of rigidity and controlled flex for predictable drift behavior. Height-adjustable oil dampers and an angle-adjustable aluminum motor mount allow drivers to fine-tune the car for different surfaces and drift styles. The Mercury Sayaka Special S15 body adds a bold, character-driven look with its sculpted lines and drift-inspired presence, perfectly complementing the platform's performance. Drift-specific wheels and tires maintain consistent grip and stability, helping the car transition smoothly through corners and maintain precise control during extended slides.

Electronics & Power

The RD2.0 arrives equipped with beginner-friendly electronics that make drifting approachable from the very first run. A reliable 27-turn drift motor delivers manageable power, while the 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver system ensures responsive, interference-free control. The included electronic speed controller (ESC) provides smooth throttle modulation, a key factor in maintaining consistent drift angles. A rechargeable battery and rapid charger keep downtime to a minimum, allowing drivers to spend more time practicing and less time waiting. Everything comes pre-installed and pre-configured, eliminating setup guesswork and letting beginners focus on learning the art of drifting.

Handling & Drivetrain

With its advanced 4-wheel independent suspension, the RD2.0 absorbs surface vibrations and keeps the tires planted for stable, predictable handling. Adjustable oil dampers allow drivers to fine-tune ride height and suspension stiffness, while the high-angle steering system supports aggressive drift angles and tight cornering. The four-gear transmission enhances rear traction and throttle response, making transitions between slides smooth and controlled. Turnbuckle-adjustable upper arms and tie rods, along with universal shafts, give the platform extensive tuning flexibility. Whether learning the basics or pushing for precision, the RD2.0 offers the adaptability and performance needed to grow with the driver.
